The Princess is a little letter scale made by Pelouze MFG. Co., Evanston, USA. The capacity is is 16 ounces. The chart has the postal rates for Third Class, First Class and Air Mail. At the top is printed the rates are valid from August 1, 1958. The box of this scale gives extra information: rates unchanged February 1 1960. Therefore this scale with box dates from after February 1960. Only the light grey part of the base is made of plastic. The other parts are of magnetic tin. The bottom shows the scale is partly assembled by folding lips, but also two connecting screws are applied. The design is also marked model M-1. Below some more pictures of this letter scale.
