This handheld letter scale originated from the former East Germany. The front of the scale has the advertisement for Harry Wenzel Bürobedarf (office equipment). This firm still exists in the German city Dresden. I was told this scale dates from 1954. The chart goes up to 50 grams and shows a stripe of measure per gram. This letter scale is delivered in a green plastic pouch. Below some more pictures of this letter scale.
