The scale is Not legal for trade, illicite pour le commerce, this is French meaning the same. The scale gives the weight in ounces and in grams. The weighing ranges are 300 grams and 10 ounces. At the front is printed: Cuisinart precision portion scale. The same scale with an extra sticker is sold by the American firm Kuhl as the Jiffy II egg scale. The transparent bowl is not only for weighing chicken eggs, but also the eggs of turkeys, ducks and emus. The scale is well suited to be used as a letter scale as well.
