This letter scale is a promotional article of Perdijk & Co., Rotterdam, Holland. It was a business present and probably dates from the years 60-70. The company produces machines for industrial bakeries. For instance biscuit cutting rollers, biscuit moulding rollers and biscuit cutters. The firm Perdijk & Co still exists. A nice feature is one side has the scale in 100 grams and the other side has a scale in four ounces. The letter clip is "Made in England" and has a US patent with number 2,863,993. This patent dates from April 28, 1959 and describes a hairclip. Very special is the little biscuit that fuctions as the letter scale holder. Clever positioned are the examples of products of Perdijk: the biscuit cutter on one side and the moulding and cutting roller on the other side.
