![]() Joch household scale | This household scale was made by Joch from Germany. The chart in grams has a capacity of 450 grams. Per 25 grams a stripe of measure is given. The lower chart has a range of 2500 grams and stripe of measure per 50 grams. The presented indication kg is somewhat misleading, only at 0, 1 and 2 this unit is correct. The small indicator for the upper chart is moved up to 450 grams by resting on a folded protuberance attached to the large indicator. The trade-mark Joch is at the lower right of the front plate. At the lower left is the abbreviation P.a. This is short for Patent angemeldet, meaning patent pending. I have not found this patent.
