Salter No. 31 pocket letter balance

This little pocket scale is of English origin, it is made by Salter. Salter is a very old firm, it was already founded in 1760. The capacity of this little letter scale is 150 Grammes. Apparently this pocket scale was meant for France. This Grammes version is in a Salter catalog from the estimated period 1935-1949. It is model No. 31 in this catalog. This model has 2 springs, but there are also lighter versions with 1 spring. More information can be found at the previously presented model of 4 ounces. The scale is subdivided per ten grams.
Below some more pictures of this pocket letter balance. (In French: pèse-lettres de poche).
