This is a small magnetic letter scale. The action is based on the principle of opposing magnetic poles. The chart has three values: 20, 50 and 100 grams. Reading is done at the red line. At the round end is printed: ACL, that is fully the Atlantic Container Line, an Italian shipping company. Obviously this was a promotional article.
