This special combination of pencil holder and letter scale came from France. At the back of the scale is the text: PORTE-CRAYON PÈSE-LETTRES L.L. BTÉ. Translated: pencil holder letter scale L.L. patented. I don't know which name is behind the initials L.L.. I found somewhere Louis Lot, Paris but this is not certain. The scale of 45 grams has a stripe of measure per each gram. The total length without pencil is 80 millimeters. The diameter is 8 millimeters. The own weight is 7.4 grams.
