herbs and letter scale

The height of this tall scale for weighing herbs and letters is 42.5 centimeters. By flipping over the counterweight one selects a weighing range of 250 grams or of 1000 grams. The scale of 250 grams has a stripe of measure per each gram. Figures are given per ten grams, extra are 5 and 15 grams. The scale of 1000 grams has a stripe of measure per five grams, here alternating short and long stripes. The unit of measurement is in German: Gramm. The frame has some images of a flower and of some leaves. The number 5 is in the frame near the zero leveling screw. This scale has no further brand, logo or name.
A catalog of Otto Henss Sohn Bürobedarfsfabriken from Weimar in Germany from the twenties, and also a catalog of Fischer & Schwahr from Leipzig in Germany from the thirties, picture this scale model.
