rocker letter scale

This letter scale is a rocker, it rocks just above 20 grams. That is all it does. The designer is the Frenchman Marcel-René Lithich from Paris. Co-molded on the bottom are the word BREVETE, the number 1.559.061 and the abbreviation S.G.D.G. Brevete indicates patented. The number proves to be the French patent 1.559.061 granted to Marcel-René Lithich, in January, 1969, applied for in January, 1968. The patent drawing shows a more extensive rocker with a sliding tilting point and therewith adjustable different tilting limits.
S.G.D.G. means Sans Garantie Du Gouvernement, either without government guarantee. An advertising sheet shows this letter scale as the smartest and easiest. It got the first prize at a gift article fair in Paris in 1969. The brief instructions are on the upper surface. There is also advertising for a Manufacture-business and as a service many starting codes of the telehone numbers of the 95 French departments are mentioned. Below some more pictures of this French rocker.
