This letter scale was probably made in Germany for the French market. The weighing range of 350 grams is typical for France. The letter scale has two weighing ranges. The scale up to 70 grams has a stripe of measure for each gram. The scale of 350 grams has a stripe of measure per each five grams. The scale has a particularly shaped frame with different curvatures. The cast iron frame has an ornamental pattern. Due to the placement of the weighing mechanism on the left, the scale values are increasing from left to right. On the lower left of the scale is the figure 7. This scale has the number 8 on that spot. Which manufacturer made these scale I don't know (yet).
