Dr. Oetker kitchen scale

This kitchen scale has the logo and the brand name of Dr. Oetker on the scale housing just below the scale. The scale housing, the bottom plate, the adjusting knob and the holder for the weighing bin are made of bakelite. The coding of the plastic parts is strange. In the Material-Prüfungs logo are the capitals OV and the number 31. The placement should be reversed: 31 and OV. The 31 points to Vereinigte Isolatorenwerke A.G. (Viacowerke) Berlin Pankow. I can not find the combination OV. I did find the single letter O, which stands for Phenolharz (Bakelit) mit Holzmehl als Füllstoff, translated: Phenolic resin (Bakelite) with sawdust or wood flour filling. The scale parts have a number: the bottom plate 4908, the scale housing 4909, the cream-colored weighing bin 4910, the bin holder 4911 and the adjusting knob 4912. The binholder has the capital M in a circle, this indicates Phenolharz (Bakelit) with an anorganischem mineralischem Füllstoff (Asbest?) (Phenolic resin (Bakelite) with an anorganic mineral filler (asbestos?)). The weighing range is 1000 grams, with per five grams a stripe of measure. On the scale is printed D.R.G.M.. This indicates a GebrauchsMuster patent, I still have not find this. This scale model, without the name and logo of Dr. Oetker, is still depicted in the Phywe main physics catalog III, in German: Phywe Hauptkatalog Physik III, of the year 1953.
This Dr. Oetker kitchen scale dates from the period 1930s-1950s. The subsidiary firm Bielefelder Haushaltgeräte Gesellschaft (BHG) manufactured these scales for Dr. Oetker.
