Dr. Oetker baking scale
This orange / cream-white Dr. Oetker Backwaage dates from the seventies, and is made in W-Germany. These baking scales were made at the daughter company Bielefelder-Haushaltgeräte-Gesellschaft (BHG). From 1978 this company continued as Dr. Oetker Haushaltgeräte. The weighing range is 1000 grams and this is subdivided per 5 grams. The scale is also in ounces, goes up to 34 ounces and is divided per ¼ ounce. The Oetker baking scale is also available with a smaller weighing range up to 250g / 10oz. With a slightly different design of the scale, there is also the 750g / 26oz Oetker Backwaage.
