This sturdy pendulum scale is made by Griffin & George Limited, from Wembley, Middlesex, England. Thanks to the foldable counterweight, there are two weighing ranges: one to 250 grams per gram divided and one to 1000 grams per five grams divided. The scale has a recess as a handle and a rubber stop just beyond the zero position. There is a hanging hook on the support of the weighing pan. That hook can be used in, for example, specific weight determinations. The maximum height measured on the edge of the plastic bowl is 39.5 centimeters. This scale is in the catalog of Griffin & George of 1972.
