the 250g/1000g scale of August Eisel | This shaky scale was probably made by August Eisel from Iserlohn in Germany. This presumption is based on the abbreviation A.E., the spelling of Wage and an advertisement circulating on the internet of August Eisel Metallwarenfabrik from Iserlohn from 1921, see bottom right of this page. The spelling Wage was prescribed in Prussia in 1902 and 1908 (according to Wiktionary.org). | back of the scale |
