paper scale

This paper scale probably was made in Germany. It has no mark or logo. The scale has a range of 200 grams per square meter and a stripe of measure for every gram. The correct values are only indicated when using a test paper of 10 by 10 centimeters.
A test paper of the quality 200 grams/m2 has a surface area of 10 x 10 cm = 0.01 m2 a weight of 2.00 grams. This paper scale with this scale therefore actually has a bar line per 0.01 gram. A set of 10 x 10 cm metal plates, serving as paper cutting templates, that are part of the paper scale, are missing here.
The mechanism of this paper scale is very similar to the previously shown paper scale of Ph.J. Maul, see here. That paper scale is already in the Maul catalog of 1909. The design of the hinge block and the scale base differ.
Below some more detailed images of this 39.5 centimeter high paper scale.
