This paper scale was made by Louis Schopper from Leipzig in Germany. According to an article in Mass und Gewicht Nr. 83, September 2007, by Hartmut Mollat with the title Wie alt sind die Geräte von Louis Schopper aus Leipzig? Louis Schopper numbered his products consecutively. Based on the number 39178 on this paper scale, this scale comes from the period 1939 - 1942. Several parts of the scale are marked with the letter B.
