letter scale Briefwippe V.I.P.s | This rocker letter scale has slots for the rate limits 20 and 50 grams. The design is by Markus Roling and Viktor Zitzmann of the German design agency Take2. The design was patented in April 2000 with number DE29917908U. The tilting scale described therein is the one shown earlier Briefwippe V.I.P.e, this model was delivered already folded in a box. In 2001 the duo came up with a slightly modified design, the V.I.P.s shown here. This comes in a flat version in a luxury envelope. The user must first fold this version himself. To this end, the tilting scale has slots on the longitudinal axis of symmetry and five short connecting bridges remain between the two halves. This makes it easy to fold to about ninety degrees. The V.I.P.s is then ready for use. It would be a bit more convenient if the printing was done on both halves. The height of the folded scale is 4.0 cm, the length is 24.5 cm. | the unprinted side of the letter scale |
