![]() relay scale PTT | This is a scale or meter to determine the switching force of a mechanical relay. Mechanical relays were used in telephone exchanges, for example. There is a spring in this relay scale. The scale in grams goes in increments from 5 grams to 60 grams. There is a scale on both sides of the round housing. The relay scale can be transported protected in its own storage box. This box is held shut with a sliding pin through an eyelet, see the photos. Both the relay scale and the accompanying storage box are old and show signs of tarnish and wear. The scale housing diameter is 52 millimeters, the housing thickness is 5.4 mm, the maximum scale length is 96 mm. The storage box measures 116 x 75 x 20 mm.
