![]() The Golden E Anchor parcel and letter scale | This parcel and letter scale was made by Eskilstuna Jernmanufaktur AB, later called Jernbogalet, from Eskilstuna in Sweden. The two weighing ranges are 300 grams and 10 kilograms. The scale features a very large counterweight, a lock to secure the counterweight during transport, and a cast iron base with a three-point support, one of which is adjustable. The weigher has knife-edge bearings. The parcel weighing plateau is made of stainless steel. The stainless steel letter holder's mounting is also used to attach a weighing cup to another weigher version. The parcel plateau barely touches the top lever of the letter scale. In some models, the parcel plateau is mounted at a 90- or 180-degree angle, ensuring the letter section remains free. | ![]() back of the parcel & letter scale |
