This little letter scale has the Jakob Maul logo at the front of the standard. On the chart, each gram has a stripe. That's too much for easy reading. Luckily the use of figures has been limited to 0, 20, 40, 50, 60 80 and 100. The base of the frame is made of solid strong steel strip. The text intended for the Dutch market: NIET VOOR HANDELSDOELEINDEN is stamped in the vertical strip of the mechanism. The mechanism and the plate are covered with a chrome layer. A part of the frame is enamelled green. Also specimens exist in red and black. Below some more pictures of this little letter scale.
