pocket scale
This pocket scale was made in Hong Kong. The packing has a text in three languages: German, English and French. On the box the character r is printed in a little black square, under which is printed räder (German, meaning wheels). One side of the scale indicates the weight in grams. 100 grams is the maximum. The other side measures the weight in ounces, This chart goes up to 3.5 oz. The holding ring, the folded part with the reading hole and the letter clip are of magnetic tin. The part with the chart is of aluminum. The pendulum is weakly magnetic. This little pocket scale was a give-away. Specimens with different commercial printings exist. This one has the logo MT.
