This firm letter scale also bears the name "THE POSTMASTER". Earlier a combination of a letter opener/ letter scale with the same name was shown. The maker's name is not present on the scale. The packing and the leaflet also do not help in this. The scale is an unequal-arm scale with a shiftable counterweight. The range is only 2½ ounces.
