This is a JMAZ letter scale. JMAZ is the abbreviation of Jakob Maul Aus Zell. It's a more recent design. This can be determined at the base, made of steel strip. Older designs have a more beautiful rounded base of cast iron. The chart of 100 grams shows a stripe for each gram. Each area of ten grams is divided into half by a chequered band at the lower edge of the chart. Before several other JMAZ designs were shown, look at a cast iron 250 grams- and a cast iron 500 grams-version.
