This bright red little letter scale was made by Kingsbury Manufacturing Co., Keene, N.H., U.S.A.. The weighing capacity is 12 ounces. The starting rate for letters was 3c per ounce. This was valid in the period July 6 1932 till August 1 1958. Air Mail took twice this amount. The period for this was 1949-1955, but also 1934-1944. Earlier at the Accurate a patent of Kingsbury dating from 1936 was presented. Also the earlier presented Rexall looks to be a smaller brother of the Kingsbury scale presented here.
