Excelsior scale

Before this a smaller specimen of the Excelsior was presented already. The one shown here is the 1000 grams version. The plate is suited to place, hold and weigh cylindrical shaped tubes without accidentally rolling and falling down from it. This type of plate is also applied at the larger version of the model Novitus of Ph.J. Maul. The chart has a stripe per five grams up to 750 grams, above this a stripe per ten grams is given up to 1000 grams. The name Excelsior is written in the color silver at the blue frame. Noteworthy, the movable feet are not shaped symmetrically. Below some more pictures of this letter scale.
