Julius Heller letter scale | This letter scale is a design made by Julius Heller from Teplitz, Czechoslovakia. It is an improvement of the earlier presented full circle letter scale designed by Balduin Heller's Söhne. The distinguishing mark of the improvement is the rolling suspension of both main levers. the design was protected by a German patent at March 11 1922. The patent with number DRP 376127 was published at May 24 1923. For more information about the full circle scale, look at the above given link. The range of this scale is 1000 grams. The chart is subdivided per gram from 0 up to 20 grams. Above 20 grams the chart has stripes per five grams up to 500 grams. Between 500 and 1000 grams the chart has stripes of measure every ten grams. Notable is the red painted area between 20 and 25 grams.
