Salter diabetic scale | This scale is especially made for diabetics by George Salter & Co. Ltd., West Bromwich, Staffordshire, England. The model has number 18D. It's based on the design of the previously presented Salter letter scale number 18. An egg scale based on the same model exists also, it's named number 18E. This diabetic scale has a loose aluminum saucer on which one weighs the food. The scale at the left is subdivided per 1/3 ounce, the scale at the right is subdivided per ¼ ounce. The weighing capacity is 8 ounces. There is also a version for the European mainland, it has a capacity of 300 grams and is subdivided per 10 grams.
