Pelouze pocket scale | This little pocket scale is made by Pelouze, USA. It's sold in a plastic case, together with the instructions and a card with the postal rates. The rates are of February, 1991. The sticker tells us the price: $6.95. Other logos of Pelouze do exist on this type of pocket scale. Other manufacturers also have this model, for instance Triner and Accura. Also specimens with the logo of United States Postal Service exist. Even pure advertising ones exist, like Canadian Mist. Sometimes the clip and or the loop holder vary. These differences are minor. The range is 4 oz. At the back is a chart in grams. This chart ends at 80 grams. The Triner model is shown in the catalog of 1963. I don't know in which year the design was made, and whether or not this model is patented. | grams at the back |
