magnetic cushion egg scale | This egg scale is my variation on the letter scale designed as kit by Klaus Hünig from Germany in 1996. These kits were intended for use in schools, in the science classes or in the crafts classes. Further details are given at the magnetic cushion letter scale. I made an adjusted top plate to hold an egg. On the tube part a modified scale of measure is applied by charging the scale with weights corresponding to the different weight classes of eggs and marking the position of the fixed rod end on the tube part. For ease of reading I applied self-adhesive figures, numbers and clearly visible stripes. I made a number of scales with the egg sizes markings on the scale. The classes S, M, L and XL are indicated. Also another variation on which the postal weight limit of 20 grams is added was built. | unloaded egg scale |
