The Personal Postman is a robust and heavy pocket scale. The scale itself weighs 73 grams. The range stated at the inner slap is 10 oz. On the scale itself stripes til 11 oz. are given. Such a range is extreme for pendulum pocket scales. The scale together with a booklet containing an extensive listing of the postal rates was sold in a fancy packing. The booklet of eight pages presents the postal rates effective January 7, 1963. These rates were maintained until January 1968. Hence this scale dates from the period 1963-1968.
