Feather-Lite egg scale | This egg grader is made by C.S.H. Industries Incorporated, of Oak Lawn, Illinois, U.S.A.. The initials CSH are cast in the bottom of the base plate. This sturdy egg scale is made of aluminum, stainless steel and brass. The base plate has two rubber pads and a set screw with a red plastic head and a jam nut. The base plate also contains a steel pin over which the brass test weight of two ounces fits. The supplied test weight reads 24. With this test weight in the egg cup, the pointer should reach 24 ounces per dozen. The main shaft is very solid with conical ends. According to Charley Amsbaugh's book with American Egg Scales (North American Egg Scales from ABC to Zenith), this egg scale was made until October 1989.
