This desk set with a letter scale, stamp box and pen tray is probably a unique item and the craft result of a handy hobbyist. The letter scale used is a well-known model by Narcisse Briais. His logo NxB is on it. Below the logo are the abbreviations B^TÉ and SGDG. This is BREVETÉ and Sans Garantie Du Gouvernement, which means: patented and without a state guarantee. The weighing range is 100 grams and is subdivided per 5 grams. The gram unit is not on the scale. The stamp box has three compartments and a hinged lid. The scale is 14.5 cm high, the letter plate is 6.3 cm round, the base plate measures 26 x 12.8 cm.
