letter scale

This letter scale has the JM mark in the mid of the black scaffold. The base of the frame is made of steel strip. The chart of this scale looks fairly obtrusive. White figures and stripes are placed on a black background. Per 2.5! grams there is a stripe. Per 10 grams the value in figures is given. Above 100 grams only the decimal value is set. The values 150, 200 en 250 grams are given full. The left strip of the mechanism reads: NIET VOOR HANDELSDOELEINDEN. This is Dutch meaning: NOT TO BE USED FOR TRADE. At the left strip a small extra pendulum ring is attached. The range is 250 grams.
