J. Maul pendulum scale

This PENDULUM SCALE of Jakob Maul has a base made of simple bent steel strip. The scale is made of steel and tin, except the aluminum pan and it's support. This pan is placed loosely on top of an aluminum cross-shaped support with raised ends. This way the pan is quickly removable. There's a JM -of Jakob Maul- logo on the standard of the scale. Also, the trademark and the name on the sticker at packing box make it clear this is a Jakob Maul product. The range of the letter scale shown is 0 - 250 grams. The pendulum weight has a large diameter and is conspicuously flat. The pendulum weight is one-sidedly attached to the mechanism. At scales of Ph.J. Maul the pendulum weight is thick and two-parted, with spacings for a two-sided attachment at the extended part of the graduated chart. The text: -NIET VOOR HANDELSDOELEINDEN- is pressed into a tin strip of the scale. This is Dutch, meaning: not legal for trade.
