Jakob Maul precision letter scale

This precision letter scale was made by Jakob Maul from Zell in Germany. The JM logo of Jakob Maul is located at the bottom right of the enamel scale. This scale has weighing ranges up to 50 grams and up to 250 grams. In the range up to 50 grams, each gram is subdivided by ¼ gram! (0.25 grams!), which is difficult to read above thirty grams, partly because the numbers are limited to 35, 40, 45, and 50. The measuring scale from 0 to 250 grams is subdivided up to 200 grams per gram, from 200 to 250 per two grams. The ends of the main axis are pointed cones. This somewhat similar paper scale from Jakob Maul contains some more information about this, see there. The scale is 26 centimeters high, the letter plateau is 11.5 x 10 cm. This letter scale was only in production for a short time.
