Testut letter scale

This letter scale was made by TESTUT Société Anonyme, from Paris, France. The scale of fifty grams has a stripe for each gram. It is the lightest version, this scale model was also available with larger ranges: 100 grams, 250 grams, and 350 grams in the colors white, brown and green. The model is in the Testut catalogs of 1954 and 1959. The 1965 catalog only shows the green version. The rectangular and perforated plateau on this copy is not original. The original plateau is an aluminum disk with a diameter of 80 millimeters. The dimensions of the scale house are 175 x 70 x 160 mm. The height of the plateau is 190 mm.
The heaviest version was previously shown, see here the 350 grams version. A more robust Testut letter scale is from a more recent date, see this scale with an aluminum housing.
