bilateral letter scale | There is no brand or logo on this chrome-plated bilateral letter scale. The model has previously been shown with slightly higher weighing ranges, see this eight ounce version here and this two hundred and fifty grams version here. Characteristic features include the slider on the back of the upright to secure the main axis, the stiffening ribs on the upright, the shape of the scale base, and the geometry of the counterweights. The pattern of the letter platform does not correspond to the models mentioned, but can be found on other tin bilateral letter scales, for example on this one scale. The scale is next to one at the bottom of the page version with a larger weighing range of 250 grams, similarities and differences can be seen. | back of the letter scale |
