REFLEX

reflex, maker Ph.J. Maul

The REFLEX made by Ph. J. Maul is protected with the notation D.R.G.M., short for: Deutsches Reich Gebrauchs-Muster. I still don't have the proper D.R.G.M. number, to trace down text and dates. The REFLEX has a so-called CONCAV chart. The plane of the chart is slightly bent out of the plane of movement of the scale, reading the chart is made easier this way. The indication CONCAV can be seen on more models of letter scales, this with or without the eye-shaped logo. The chart has division stripes per 5 grams, the length of these stripes is not constant. I don't know whether the REFLEX exists in more designs. The range of the letter scale shown is 0 - 250 grams.
