letter scale

This letter scale is shown because of the abnormal frame with the characteristic horizontal beam. This beam functions as bumper and protects the circle. This letter scale came from Germany and was probably based on the design of the firm Balduin Heller's Söhne, from Teplitz, Czechoslovakia, now Czech Republic. Previously, other full circle letter scales were shown, see pictures below and the below given links to relevant web pages. This full circle letter scale has a stripe of measure for each gram in the first range of twenty grams, above this a stripe per each five grams is given. The weighing range is 500 grams. Below some more pictures of this letter scale.
