MELIUS
egg scale / powder scale

This weighing scale has the brand name Melius and was made in Austria. The scale was manufactured by the firm Konrad Burg Apparatebau, from Vienna. Previously other scales of Melius have been shown, see the large 300g/1000g Melius and the small 250g Melius.
This Melius has the same frame as the 250 grams version, and an egg cup instead of a letter plate. Both are secured to the mechanism with two rivets. The counterweight is situated higher, placed closer to the pivot point. I am not 100 percent sure that it is an egg scale, I have no documentation. Certainly the cup is suited for an egg, but also for powders and the like. The 100 grams scale has a stripe of measure per each gram. The height of the scale is 20.5 centimeters.
